HomeSportAfrica SportsFIFA break: Morocco to face Tunisia and Benin in friendlies

The Moroccan national football team will face Tunisia and Benin this June during the FIFA international break.

As host of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, Morocco is already stepping up preparations for the continental tournament. The Atlas Lions will play two matches during the upcoming international window, taking on the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia before facing the Cheetahs of Benin.

These two friendlies will provide head coach Walid Regragui with a valuable opportunity to assess his squad, refine tactical strategies, and strengthen team chemistry ahead of the major African competition. It’s an important test for the Atlas Lions, who are determined to win the tournament on home soil.
