Real Madrid: Rodrygo breaks silence on exit rumors

HomeSportFootballReal Madrid: Rodrygo breaks silence on exit rumors

Rodrygo has addressed growing speculation about his future at Real Madrid, putting an end to the rumors with a pointed message on social media.

Earlier this week, Spanish outlet Marca reported that the Brazilian winger was considering a departure at the end of the season. Frustrated by limited playing time and reportedly feeling sidelined in favor of teammates Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo was said to be looking for a way out. Some reports even claimed he refused to play in last weekend’s El Clásico against Barcelona, though manager Carlo Ancelotti had stated the player was unfit.

Rodrygo swiftly shut down the rumors. In a post on Instagram, he shared a photo of himself lying on what appears to be a recovery device, confirming he is indeed dealing with a physical issue. The caption read: “Thank you for all your messages and concern. I’ll be back soon. Stop making things up.”

The post sends a clear message: Rodrygo is focused on recovery—not on leaving Madrid. His response may quiet speculation, at least for now.
