Missing key forwards Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, who were rested, Inter Miami suffered a 4-3 defeat against Dallas on Sunday evening in MLS action.

Inter Miami recorded its first loss of the season this weekend. The Florida-based club fell to Dallas during the 10th round of the regular season. Without their superstars Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Luis Suarez — all rested for this eventful match — the hosts ultimately lost by a score of 4-3.

Leading 2-1 at halftime, Javier Mascherano’s men collapsed after the break. Julio Anderson leveled the score for Dallas before Pedrinho secured the win for the visitors.

With this result, Inter Miami drops to fifth place in the standings with 18 points, four points behind leaders Cincinnati.
