HomeSportFootballChampions League: predicted line-ups for Inter Milan vs Barcelona

Inter Milan will host Barcelona this Tuesday evening in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. Which starting XIs will the managers choose?

The Champions League resumes on Tuesday with a heavyweight showdown between Inter Milan and FC Barcelona in the return leg of the semi-finals. After a 3-3 draw in the first leg, both teams must now go all in to secure a spot in the final.

For this highly anticipated clash, Inter manager Simone Inzaghi is expected to stick with the starting eleven from last week. The only absentee will be Benjamin Pavard, who is sidelined with a muscle injury. Lautaro Martinez, recently recovered, could be in the starting line-up — although Inzaghi may opt to bring him on later in the match.

On the Barcelona side, coach Hans-Dieter Flick will be without Koundé, who joins Balde, Bernal, and Casado in the treatment room. Eric Garcia is expected to fill in on the right flank in the Frenchman’s absence. Robert Lewandowski, also returning from injury, will start on the bench.

Predicted line-ups:

Inter Milan: Sommer – Bisseck, Acerbi, Bastoni – Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco – Lautaro Martinez, Thuram.

Barcelona: Szczesny – Garcia, Araujo, Cubarsí, Iñigo Martínez – Pedri, De Jong, Olmo – Yamal, Torres, Raphinha.
