HomeSportFootballChampions League: Kylian Mbappé reacts to PSG's qualification

A former Paris Saint-Germain star, Kylian Mbappé has also weighed in on PSG’s qualification for the Champions League final. Now wearing the number 9 jersey at Real Madrid, the French forward showed his support in a subtle but telling way—by liking social media posts from some of his former teammates.

For only the second time in its history, PSG has secured a spot in the Champions League final, after a convincing aggregate win over Arsenal (3-1). The victory has been widely celebrated across France.

Mbappé, who left PSG last summer, reacted to the milestone by liking celebration posts from Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, and Achraf Hakimi—his close friends and ex-teammates at the Parisian club.

Though now a Madridista, the French star’s gesture did not go unnoticed by fans, many of whom welcomed his nod to the club where he spent six memorable seasons.

Paris Saint-Germain’s all-time leading scorer, Kylian Mbappé, left the French capital this summer after seven seasons in which he won every domestic title. But his first year at Real Madrid is proving to be more challenging than expected.

Since his high-profile move to the Spanish giants, the French international has struggled to truly hit his stride, delivering inconsistent performances that have yet to live up to expectations.

With Real Madrid already knocked out of both the Champions League and the Copa del Rey, the pressure is mounting. Los Blancos could also see the La Liga title slip away, as they prepare to face Barcelona this Sunday in a high-stakes Matchday 35 clash.
