In Ivory Coast, Clarisse Duncan, wife of former Vice President Daniel Kablan Duncan, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

The announcement was made in an official statement by Minister Amédé Koffi Kouakou, president of the Association of Central Region Executives for Development (ACCD-RHDP).

“Minister AMÉDÉ KOFFI KOUAKOU, president of the ACCD-RHDP, deeply saddened, regrets to inform all elected officials and executives of the Greater Center of the sudden passing today, May 4, 2025, of our mother and sister,” the statement reads.
