Major disruptions expected on RATP and SNCF networks in Île-de-France on May 3 and 4, 2025

Significant service interruptions are scheduled across several transport lines in the Île-de-France region over the weekend of May 3 and 4, 2025, due to modernization and maintenance works. Commuters are advised to plan ahead.

Metro

  • Line 9: Service will be fully suspended on Sunday, May 4. Replacement buses will be deployed to maintain connections.

RER

  • RER A: No trains between Maisons-Laffitte and Poissy. Replacement buses will operate between Achères-Ville and Poissy. Bus line 1 will also be reinforced between Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Poissy.
  • RER B: No service between Aulnay-sous-Bois and Charles de Gaulle Airport 2-TGV on both May 3 and 4. Replacement buses will serve affected stations.
  • RER C: No trains between Massy-Palaiseau and Pont de Rungis. Service is also suspended between Champ de Mars – Montigny Beauchamp and Pontoise.
  • RER D: No trains between Juvisy and Corbeil-Essonnes via both Ris-Orangis and Évry – Courcouronnes. Trains from Malesherbes and Melun will terminate at Corbeil-Essonnes. On May 3, trains will not stop at Le Vert de Maisons in either direction, and at Maisons-Alfort when heading toward Melun and Corbeil-Essonnes, from 12:00 p.m. until the end of service.

Transilien

  • Line J: Service suspended between Paris Saint-Lazare and Poissy.
  • Line N: No trains between Paris Montparnasse and Rambouillet, and between Paris Montparnasse and Versailles Chantiers until 3:45 p.m. on May 4.

Travel recommendations

Passengers are encouraged to check the official websites of RATP and Transilien SNCF for up-to-date information on schedules and alternate routes. Replacement bus services will be available on affected routes, but longer travel times should be expected.

These disruptions are part of the ongoing modernization projects across the network, including preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and aim to enhance service quality over the long term.
