CAF has unveiled the full schedule for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, which also serves as the qualifying tournament for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
In just a few months, African football fans will once again be swept up in the excitement of the U-20 AFCON. The tournament will take place from April 27 to May 18, 2025, in Egypt. The Confederation of African Football has now released the full list of match dates, times, and venues.
The tournament format features three groups—one with five teams and two with four. The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarter-finals. The final is scheduled for May 18, 2025. The four semi-finalists will automatically qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
