On Monday, April 21, 2025, Ivorian singer Vitale surprised her fans by announcing the end of her marriage to Marco Versace, a Coupé-décalé artist based in France. In a Facebook post, she shared that two years after tying the knot, she has grown tired of ongoing tensions and a lack of respect within the relationship.

In her message, Vitale expressed disappointment over her husband’s disregard for her family. “While I give my all to his family, he disrespects mine,” she wrote, revealing a humiliating incident in which Marco allegedly asked her and her nephew to get out of his car following a dispute with his grandmother’s housekeeper. “He even asked for a divorce… LOL!” she added with irony.

The couple had made their relationship official with a traditional wedding on July 11, 2023, followed by a civil ceremony four days later in Cocody. Their romance had started on a fairy-tale note, with a public proposal on the set of the TV show WAM.

But today, Vitale is putting an end to it. “I’d rather be single than be verbally assaulted every day,” she stated. Her post quickly sparked a wave of reactions online, ranging from messages of support to calls for more privacy.

With honesty and courage, Vitale is turning the page—a personal decision made far from appearances and the spotlight.
