Benin Mourns the Passing of General Moumouni Zankaro

The nation of Benin is mourning the loss of General Moumouni Zankaro, who passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024.

Benin’s military is in mourning following the announcement of the death of General Moumouni Zankaro on Monday, April 8, 2024. According to reports broadcast by Bip FM radio, he died at his home, although the circumstances surrounding his death are currently unknown. Just a few days earlier, General Zankaro attended an official ceremony.

Retired since January 2013, General Zankaro had just celebrated his 69th birthday on April 7, 2024.
