The three countries hosting the World Cup 2030, Morocco, Portugal and Spain, unveiled on Tuesday the logo and the slogan for the centennial edition of the World Cup.

On the evening of Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at a ceremony in Lisbon, the three host countries for the 24th edition of the World Cup, namely Morocco, Portugal, and Spain, unveiled the logo and slogan of the tournament. The chosen logo features vibrant colors, combining a sun, the sea, the wind, a soccer ball, and the number 30.

The competition’s slogan was also revealed. For the World Cup’s 100-year anniversary, the three organizing nations have chosen the motto “Yalla Vamos,” a phrase composed of an Arabic word and a word common to both Spanish and Portuguese, translating as “Let’s go!”

Cristiano Ronaldo, Iniesta, and Naybet Named Ambassadors

The list of ambassadors was also announced during the same ceremony. Amongst them are Cristiano Ronaldo, Andres Iniesta, and Noureddine Naybet.

For the first time in history, the World Cup will take place across three continents: Africa, America and Europe. Six countries, namely Spain, Portugal and Morocco, as well as Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, will host the matches.
